In Saskatchewan, a vehicle package policy is important because it provides additional coverage beyond the basic SGI plate insurance, protecting you from significant financial burdens in the event of an accident by offering higher liability limits, lower deductibles, rental vehicle coverage and coverage for situations like vehicle damage from theft, fire, vandalism, or collisions with wildlife, which are not fully covered under the basic policy alone; essentially giving you greater peace of mind and financial security on the road.
